National Day of Truth & Reconciliation
On September 30th all Bredin programs and locations will be closed in recognition of the first-ever National Day of Truth & Reconciliation. We encourage our staff, clients and partners to wear an Orange T-shirt on September 29th or 30th in recognition of, and to honour the children, families, friends, and intergenerational survivors of Canada’s Indian Residential Schools.
As we approach Canada’s first Truth and Reconciliation Day, we would like to share a short interview with Justice Murray Sinclair. In this 7 minute clip, he describes how Canadians can work toward reconciliation.
