Bredin Employment Centre is here to help with every step of your career journey. A skill assessment will help to identify your strengths and develop a plan to address skill gaps. Our knowledgeable staff will provide job search coaching and guidance on navigating the current labour market.

Personal and Professional Development

This four-week structured program will help you make informed career decisions, develop essential skills, and identify meaningful personal and professional goals. Each week is dedicated to a specific topic, including Career Planning, Personal & Professional Life Management, Microsoft Office Computer Skills, and Industry Supported Customer Service Skills. You will have the opportunity to explore career options, find support to address personal challenges and enhance computer and customer service skills. By participating in this four-week program, you will gain skills and knowledge that will support your career goals.

Employment Services

Our experienced staff will help you develop a resume targeted to the job opportunity and provide coaching to prepare for your interview. We will help you connect to job opportunities and employment, as well as occupational safety training and certifications. Our Employer Connection events and individual coaching sessions are designed to help you reach your personal occupational goals. Support does not stop once you are employed, we will continue to help you as you adjust to your new workplace.

Resources

The fully equipped client Resource Centre provides you with access to computers, internet connection, phone, and printers. Here you will find information on Industry trends, job boards, community connections and everything you need to conduct your job search. Knowledgeable staff members are on-site to help you and will provide resources and guidance. We host regular events and information sessions on our social media sites to support Alberta job seekers to connect to employers and community organizations.
