Ayo is a Business Leader and an Emerging Tech enthusiast who continually defines innovative solutions to real-world problems.
With his versatile professional background across multiple countries and industries, both private and public sectors, Ayo provides a unique intersectional lens to the Board.
Ayo is a trained Finance Professional with a Master’s degree in Finance and Investment (UK). He has worked in various capacities across Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, and Business Transformation. He is currently the Director of Scaleup & Growth at Alberta Innovates and Co-founder of Clavis Studio and Myles App. He also co-founded Black Business Ventures Association (BBVA), a not-for-profit supporting tech business leaders through programs and services that are inclusive of cultural context.
When Ayo immigrated to Canada as an internationally trained professional, he accessed and benefited immensely from the services and resources provided by Bredin. To this day, he attributes his professional and personal successes to the exceptional experience he had with Bredin.
Ayo is a strong advocate of Bredin and is passionate about the critical role Bredin plays in skills development and career advancement in Alberta. He joined the Board in January 2020, holds the position of Treasurer, sits on the Finance/Audit committee as Chair, and is a member of the Governance & Human Resources committee.
