Training is individualized and includes support in areas such as updating your resume, improving your English, or learning Microsoft Word.
Certified Utility Tree Worker (CUTW) Program
The Certified Utility Tree Worker (CUTW) Program is a comprehensive hands-on instruction designed to prepare individuals for careers in utility arboriculture. Participants are supported in conducting occupational and industry research, develop individual training plans, and make informed career decisions.
Bredin Equipment Operator Training Program
Water and vacuum truck operators are in demand in Alberta and this full-time training program will provide you the foundational skills to start a rewarding career. This comprehensive training will assist you in acquiring a Class 3 License and any safety course you need to prepare you for the water and vacuum truck training. Once you are ready SATO Canada will provide hands on training at their state-of-the-art training facility located in Millet, Alberta.
LINC – Bredin Language Instruction for Newcomers
Are you new to Canada? Do you want to learn English? We offer part-time Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) classes, CLB Levels 5-8, for landed immigrants and refugees. Our qualified instructors will teach you how to read, write, listen, and speak in English. These Government of Canada IRCC funded services are offered at no cost to you.
