Last night (February 8), Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced the province’s three-step plan to ease provincial public health restrictions, with some measures lifting as early as midnight on February 8. There will be no immediate changes to current Bredin safety measures. Bredin College, Bredin Centre and Earlybird Childcare are not part of the Government of Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program. Bredin is assessing the province’s announcement and how it could impact our diverse activities across all three entities in the coming days. We will continue to watch for local adjustments to public health measures including those from municipalities in which we operate. We will communicate any changes in policies or procedures as they come into effect. Until that time, please continue to observe all current Bredin safety and screening measures.
