Bredin Centre for Career Advancement is growing, and we are looking for a strategic, people-focused leader to help strengthen and scale our programs as we move into the next phase of impact.

The Director of Programming is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing program quality, performance, and consistency across Bredin Centre’s portfolio of employment and workforce development services. Working closely with the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team, this role supports the execution of Bredin Centre’s program strategy, drives operational excellence, and ensures programs deliver strong outcomes for clients, employers, and funders.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the execution of Bredin’s organization-wide program strategy aligned with the strategic plan and funder priorities.
  • Provide oversight across the full program lifecycle, from design and implementation to evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and support Program Managers, strengthening leadership capacity, accountability, and consistency.
  • Monitor outcomes, service targets, and risks to ensure programs deliver measurable results.
  • Partner with finance to manage program budgets and ensure responsible stewardship of public funds.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, employers, and community partners.
  • Contribute to proposals, new program development, and growth opportunities.
  • Use data to guide decisions, demonstrate impact, and improve quality.
