As a Chartered Professional Accountant of Alberta, with over 10 years' experience at the executive financial leadership level, Corinne brings her natural leadership, passion for business and her vast experience to every endeavour she engages in.
Corinne is a respected senior financial executive with diverse experience having worked for companies in the not-for-profit, privately owned for-profit, and large complex publicly traded companies such as GE Oil & Gas, Sherritt International, EPCOR Utilities and Weyerhaeuser Canada.
She is accomplished in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, risk management, raising capital (debt & equity), labour negotiations, cash-flow management and analyzing financial trends.
Corinne also believes it is vital to give back to the community in which she lives and freely offers her time and expertise to her role on the advisory board of Inplico, the FEI Canada Private Company Committee, and most recently as a Board Member of Bredin Centre for Career Advancement.
In 2011, Corinne was nominated and held the position of the Edmonton HUB Leader for GE Women’s Network and is extremely passionate about helping women and underrepresented minorities advance into key leadership roles.
Corinne is a high-performing individual as seen from her pursuit to qualify and run in the 2005 Boston Marathon. She lives by her passion for continuous improvement and learning and loves to share her experiences by mentoring people who want to achieve success.
Corinne joined the Board in 2020 and is currently the Chair of the Board. Corinne sits on the Finance & Audit and HR & Governance committees.
