Upon completion
of the Human
Services Worker
Program,
graduates will:
- Demonstrate professional behaviour in the role of a Human Services Worker
- Provide quality service and competent care
- Have the values, ethics and communication skills necessary for this field
- Have the skills required to meet the personal care and health needs for individuals
- Have an understanding and awareness of issues, advocacy and rights for individuals
- Have the skills to assist in developing and integrating individuals into their community
- Have satisfied and completed all employer-required training for entry into this field
- Effectively job search, gain and maintain long-term employment as a Human Services Worker
