Program Overview  

Bredin Employment Centre is a supported job search program that assists unemployed Albertans find employment.

  • Sending out resumes with no response?
  • Getting interviews but not the job?
  • Not sure how to access the “hidden job market”?
  • Feel confused and frustrated with the job search process?
  • Lacking work experience?
  • Interested in workplace training?
  • Have limited financial resources for phone calls, faxing, postage, etc.?
  • Looking for high speed Internet access?
  • Need a place to go daily to job search?
  • Need support and encouragement from experienced staff?

Career Assistance:

We offer Job Search and Employment Preparation workshops for you to discover your unique talents, interests, beliefs and motivators. We also offer work exploration activities such as Computerized Individual Career Assessment tools to assist you in your career path.    

Work Search:

Check our Supported Work Search Program. Receive guided assistance from Employment Counselors and our Employment Developer. We can guide you through your job search and teach you how to write a professional resume, perform well at interviews, job search effectively, develop your network and maintain employment. We can also help you connect to employers.
